RCST GSE Nominee Search

The Rotary Club of South Triangle is in search for its nominee/s to the Group Study Exchange (GSE) Outbound Team of Rotary International District 3780.  This Rotary year 2007-2008 there are two outbound teams.  One team is going to R.I. District 6170 in Southern part of Arkansas, USA (from late March to late April 2008) and the other going to R.I. District 7780 in parts of Maine, New Hampshire & Massachutts, USA (from April 5 to May 5, 2008).  Successful nominee/s will be officially endorsed by the club as its candidate for the GSE Outbound Team of R.I. District 3780 for this Rotary year.

R.I. District 3780 will have its own evaluation committee to choose the GSE Outbound Team members.  The district evaluation committee will only entertain candidates officially endorsed by a Rotary club in R.I. District 3780. The successful candidate/s will form part of the district’s GSE outbound team. A GSE team is composed of four non-Rotarian young professionals and one Rotarian who leads the group.

The GSE program of The Rotary Foundation is a unique cultural and vocational exchange opportunity for young business and professional men and women between the ages of 25 and 40 and in the early years of their professional lives. The program provides travel grants for teams to exchange visits between paired areas in different countries. For four to six weeks, team members experience the host country's institutions and ways of life, observe their own vocations as practiced abroad, develop personal and professional relationships, and exchange ideas.

Interested individuals may download and fill up the GSE application form and e-mail their application to info@rcsouthtriangle.org on or before October 30, 2007.  You will be contacted through your e-mail or through other means you have provided us for further instruction.
