R.I. District 3780 Held its Induction on June 30, 2007

The R.I. District 3780 had its induction last June 30, 2007 at the Amoranto Multi-Purpose hall.  Prior to the induction ceremonies, a thanksgiving mass was celebrated.  Gov. Danny Fausto was induction by IPDG Danny Espinosa then IPDG Danny Espinosa in a simple ceremony handed over to Gov. Danny Fausto the leadership of R.I. District 3780.  By batches, the district officers were induction into office by Gov. Danny Fausto.  Last but not the least to be inducted into their respective positions and offices were the club officers.

After the induction ceremonies, lunch followed courtesy of the host club, the Rotary Club of New Manila East.

Members of the Rotary Club of South Triangle that were appointed in the district are PP BH Herrera-Dy as Deputy chief of staff, Chair of the Annual Giving, Chair of the Paul Harris Society sub-committee, Chair Community Development Sub-committee Service projects and member of the Public Relations committee; PP Ricky Rios as Associate Editor of the Governor’s Monthly Letter and Vice-chair for the District Internet Communication Group; PP Willy Chi as Chair for Attendance sub-committee Club Administration and PP Ray Achacoso for District Billards Tournament.            

The Rotary Club of South Triangle Turnover Ceremonies 2007

RCST held its turnover ceremonies and awards night last June 28, 2007 at the Redwood Restaurant. Aside from the members, the occasion was also attended by the spouses and friends of the club.  In the turnover ceremony, Pres. Manny Guballa handed the club’s gong and gavel to Pres.-elect Cynthia Sotooka to symbolize the change in leadership.  After the handover, Pres. Manny gave PE Cynthia the president’s pin.  Pres.-elect Cynthia on her part gave Pres. Manny the Outstanding President’s Award, the past president’s pin and the “Lead the Way” theme banner.

           

The dinner was hosted by Pres. Manny as a way of thanking the RCST family for the many contributions and sacrifices they have given during his term.  Aside from the dinner, Pres. Manny also gave certificates of appreciation and plaques of recognition to RCST family.

            And for the first time, Pres. Cynthia banged the gong to adjourn the meeting.  Fellowship followed till late at night.  Congratulations to Pres. Manny for a job well done and Good Luck to Pres. Cynthia!            

 

The Rotary Club of South Triangle 2007 Planning Session

The Rotary Club of South Triangle had its planning session at the National Irrigation Authority (NIA) Room A last June 23, 2007.

Present were IPP Manny Guballa, Sec. Ella Pineda, PP BH Herrera-Dy, PP Willy Chi, PP Ricky Rios, VP-Internal Flor Ofrecio, VP-External Bernie Cruz, PSec. Sylvia Lazo, Finance Sec. Kiko Gutirrez, Dir. Bimbo Baldo, PDir. Art Tarnate, PP Frank Abueva, PP Ben Roxas, PP Ray Achacoso and PP Butch Arroyo.

Pres. Cynthia came prepared with a huge tarpaulin calendar to log and plot the different activities of the club and district.

At the end of the day, Pres. Cynthia was very much satisfied with the outcome of the planning session knowing very well that having a plan in place means another focused, meaningful and satisfying Rotary year for RCST.
