
Reaching Communities by Saving Trees is the Rotary Club of South Triangle's project aimed at saving the environment by planting trees, saving lives by helping the Philippine National Red Cross in their life saving programs and saving the community thru the various community service projects of RCST. Composed of a variety of ecosystems mainly lake, river and forest areas, the La Mesa Watershed is home to many animals including kingfishers, butterflies, monkeys and wild pigs. Your donation of P500 will be used in helping save the only forest of its size in Metro Manila. Donors will also be entitled to the naming right of the tree that they adopted at the La Mesa Forest, and receive an exclusive Bantay Kalikasan Card and will be included in their Database of Donors and their contributions will also be acknowledged in this website. Also, RCST will enroll the donor to the Pnilippine National Red Cross' Membership Drive, where as a member, the donor will be entitled to more than P50,000 worth of insurance benefits. The donation will also assist Red Cross' commitment of saving lives through its programs and activities. This is an ongoing project of the Rotary Club of South Triangle until it fills up it adopted hectare in the La Mesa Forest. |
